The Role: Marketing Manager

Located in Austin, TX

Tango Health seeks a full-time Marketing Manager at our North Austin headquarters.  As the Marketing Manager you’ll be responsible for managing a variety of marketing functions from content management, building and running campaigns (email, direct mail, social media), reviewing analytics, owning website content updates, facilitating customer database management, working on webinar/event projects and more. You will join a small, tight-knit company and report to the Director of Marketing.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Manage email campaigns from working with designer on images to writing copy and approving test emails for timely delivery
  • Leverage outside partners to accelerate campaign and content initiatives.
  • Post new / edit content for company website and work to improve website SEO
  • Proof, write/edit, publish and distribute articles, blogs, and newsletters
  • Lead our event planning, including booking dates and securing venues, assisting in the development of ideas and creative materials, researching speaking engagements and performing event fulfillment when applicable  
  • Support sales team through lead generation campaigns, outreach programs, RFP management and engagement strategy and guidance.
  • Coordinate special promotions and company’s involvement with events
  • Assist with webinar content and vendor / platform management
  • Maintain company databases on an ongoing basis and make changes from directories, returned mail, input from events and web inquiries
  • Assemble and mail/distribute direct marketing materials
  • Assist with public relations activities
  • Lead social media efforts and research competitor activities
  • Monitor and report on key weekly and monthly statistics

About You:

  • 5+ years of B2B digital marketing experience
  • Experience working for smaller, fast-paced organizations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal
  • Well organized and detailed oriented, especially with deadlines
  • Self-starter that’s excited to try new things
  • Results-oriented campaign experience
  • Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills (can both listen to others and express your opinion)
  • Experience managing email campaigns using a marketing automation tool like Marketo
  • Familiarity with B2B tools and eagerness to learn: WordPress; SFDC; B2B social media platforms (Hootsuite, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strategic thinker with experience collecting data and reporting metrics
  • Good eye for design
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
