An online story by Carol Patton for Human Resource Executive titled “Wrestling with the ACA’s Reporting Requirements” referenced survey results showing that more than half of the large employers responding felt unprepared to comply with the Affordable Care Act’s regulatory requirements. The executives surveyed felt that exchange notices, penalties and forms were more complicated than expected, and gathering data from payroll, time and attendance, benefits and absence management systems was more challenging than initially thought.  An ACA compliance solution was and still is a true need.
