ACA Reporting Is Not a DIY Project
Why reporting and filing complexities
We explain why ACA reporting and filing complexities make it smart to seek out help for the year ahead.
Organizations that recently met the June 30 IRS filing deadline for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) deserve some well-earned congratulations — and their HR teams may be looking forward to a break from ACA reporting before diving back into reporting tasks for this year.
It’s critical to keep in mind that year is already half over — which means some businesses may already be incurring fines. What’s more, it will be more difficult to meet the requirements of the law for 2017, and much of what worked last year may not work this time — particularly for organizations that relied on a DIY approach.
